Lancaster Primary shares books and the love of reading

There was music, dancing, and plenty of smiles on Thursday, November 19, when teachers and staff from Lancaster Primary School, decked out as their favorite children’s book characters, held their Title 1 Book Give Away.

Principal Bambi Thompson said everyone was “excited to see students back at the school,” even if just for a few minutes.

Roughly 350 pre-K through third grade students received packets that included four books and related activities designed for families to complete together. Staff picked a selection…
