Lancaster remains competitive in girls track and field events

Lancaster’s girls scored 70 points to win a recent four-team meet at Middlesex and scored 56 to finish third in a quad at West Point last Thursday.

Host Middlesex scored 65 points to finish second, Essex scored 36 for third and Washington & Lee scored 20 for fourth. Host West Point won its four-team meet with 68 points, while Essex scored 63 points as the runner-up and Northumberland scored 47 for fourth.

Diamond Taylor, Jasmyn Tomlin and Unequia Baker garnered the only firsts for Lancaster at West Point.
