Lancaster schools will register children for its pre-K program throughout May.
Appointments to register 3- and 4-year-olds into the program can be made for Mondays through Thursdays by contacting Heather Evans, pre-school administrator at 462-5100, extension 3047 or hevans@lcs.k12.va.us. Walk-in registration is available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 13 and 30 at the school board office, 2330 Irvington Road, Weems, said Evans.
The following items are needed for registration:
• An original birth certificate—not a photocopy.
• Proof of residency in Lancaster County—must include parent or legal guardian’s name and physical address (no post office boxes), must be dated.
• Verification of family income.
