LANCASTER—After a brief discussion, the Lancaster board of supervisors on May 28 voted unanimously to set a proposed capital improvement plan for public hearing on June 25.
County administrator Don Gill presented the $11.3 million dollar plan for fiscal year 2020-21, with projects prioritized by the planning commission prior to board consideration.
Gill reminded the board that the $8.3 million requested for the RUS Connect Grant matching funds would have to be borrowed and suggested the $1.1 million for the required EMS digital radio upgrade be part of that, leaving a balance of $1.9 million for the county to fund.
