Lancaster won a one-hole playoff by two strokes to claim the Northern Neck District tournament championship at Quinton Oaks Golf Course Monday.

Lancaster and district favorite Rappahannock tied with a 327 team score each after the Devils posted their best rounds of the season. The tie brought up a one-hole playoff with Lancaster’s four low scorers, Sheridan Ford, Spencer Crittenden, Jacob Hudnall and Nicklaus Ford playing the Raiders’ four low scorers of Reed Thorne, Daniel O’Bier, Josh White and Sydney DeShazo on the par 4, hole number one.

S. Ford and Hudnall both bogeyed the hole while Crittenden and N. Ford shooting par to give Lancaster a two-stroke edge to upset hosting Rappahannock.
