WICOMICO CHURCH—Virginia State Police on Tuesday, May 7, responded to a two-vehicle crash on Jessie duPont Memorial Highway, approximately .5 mile north of Mt. Olive Road. The accident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The trooper’s preliminary investigation revealed that a 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Jalisa N. Walker, 25, of Lancaster was traveling southbound on Jessie duPont Memorial Highway when she veered across the center line striking a 2010 Toyota Tundra traveling northbound, head on, reported VSP public information officer Sgt. Keeli L. Hill.
Unfortunately, Walker succumbed to her injuries at the scene….
