Lancaster High School finished second with three gold, two silver and three bronze medalists in the eight-school Cavalier Clash 2024 on Saturday, December 7.
Host Caroline won the clash with 219.5 points, while Lancaster was the runner-up with 171 points. LC Byrd finished third with 89 and Northumberland fourth with 84. Monacan and Middlesex tied for fifth with 80. Patrick Henry placed seventh with 76 and Chancellor eighth with 33.
“Our season has a promising look after taking second at the Cavalier Clash,” said LHS coach Craig Oren. “We had eight medalists and three of those are first year wrestlers who show a very bright future.”
