Every Tuesday, 14 volunteers report to Lancaster County schools to tutor 20 young people.
This month, the Volunteer Tutoring Program recognizes and appreciates its Tuesday Tutors, said coordinator Gayle Sterrett.
Sharon Gill, Colleen Somerville, Gail Saylor, Kerry Sawdy and Frances Lee work with primary school students in grades Pre K-3.
Rich Ferraro, Bill Johnson, Rose Mary Bland, Audrey Thomasson, Betty Mill, Ellen Clarke and Danielle Kuper tutor middle school students in grades 4-8.
Alan Sutton and Tom Chapman assist high school students with geometry and algebra, functions and data analysis.
