Over the past few years, Lancaster County Public Schools has seen a transformation in its infrastructure, with the new Early Childhood Education Center opening in 2022, a revamped Lancaster Elementary School opening the following school year and a new Lancaster High School just months away. Overseeing the transformation and leading a dedicated team of divisional leaders is Superintendent Jessica Davis.
Davis embodies Red Devils spirit, having spent her entire educational career with Lancaster County Public Schools, beginning in 1997. “I had just graduated. I came down from Pennsylvania in January for an interview, started working that month and I have been here since,” she said. She began teaching kindergarten—“I loved it”—but 11 years into her career she decided to switch gears….
