Lancaster High School held its end-of-the-year athletic picnic and awards ceremony June 13, when 34 athletes received team trophies.
All junior varsity and varsity student-athletes participating in fall, winter and spring sports were recognized with certificates, letters or pins, while coaches presented two athletes from each varsity squad team awards.
In fall sports, Wyatt McCranie received the coaches award for boys cross country and Darius Reed was named the most valuable player (MVP). Leanne Nguyen was chosen as the most improved runner on the girls cross country team and Mary Frere received the coaches award.
The rookie of the year award for the girls volleyball team went to Riley Molineaux and Camryn Pittman received the Red Devils award.
