Members of the Lancaster High School Red Devils Band on April 9 boarded two chartered buses for Myrtle Beach, S.C., to participate in Festivals of Music.
They competed in both marching and concert competitions. It turned out to be one of the most successful trips the band has had in several years, said LHS band director Kenny Flester.
The concert band received an excellent rating and placed second. The marching band placed first, receiving a Superior rating. The LHS Band also received the Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser Esprit de Corps Award…..
