Lancaster High School reinstated its junior varsity football program this year after a three-year hiatus.
The team, coached by Andrew Wylie, played two games of an original six-game schedule.
During the second half of the varsity season, many of the JV players were “pulled up” and dressed out for Friday night games, according to varsity coach Landon Gouveia.
Northumberland beat Lancaster, 10-0, and Westmoreland shut out the Red Devils, 32-0, in the two JV games.
