The Lancaster High School golf team has gotten off to a 2-0 start against Tidewater District teams. Northern Neck District play will begin next week.

The Red Devils edged Middlesex by two strokes in the season opener then picked up a 182-199 win over Mathews August 14 at the Golden Eagle Golf Course.
Leading LHS in both of its early matches is returning senior Tyler Brent, who shot a 42 on nine holes against Mathews. Brent is one of four seniors on the 11-member combined junior varsity/varsity team.
Brent is playing in the number one….
