There’s renewed excitement and a new attitude surrounding the Lancaster High School soccer program.
After more than a decade of low numbers and not being able to field a junior varsity team, the program is back to two teams and the varsity team is building momentum on a 2-1 start.
“We’re focusing on perspective, condition, joy and accountability,” said Rob Pittman, who begins his sixth season as head coach.
“Our goal is to win, but our purpose is growth,” said Pittman. “We want to change the mentality to not just wanting to win but always wanting to compete.”
