LHS volleyball season looks promising

The varsity Lady Devils volleyball team picked up its second win of the season on the Eastern Shore last week, defeating Northampton, 3-1. Lancaster also beat King & Queen, 3-0, but lost to Middlesex, 0-3. 

Despite the 2-5 start, new head coach Skylar Kellum is optimistic.

“Honestly I’m really excited for the season. It’s early and my girls have a lot of talent. So I’m excited to see what they can do,” said Kellum.

She is familiar to Lancaster volleyball fans as a former setter and outside hitter, graduating from LHS in 2013. She also coached the middle school team last year.

Kellum fields an experienced squad with five seniors, six juniors and a freshman. Her senior returners include….
