Library scavenger offers chance to win an iPad Air

Most people know that they can visit their local library, get a free library card and check out books.

However, many people miss the full story of what libraries offer, including e-books and other digital media, events for all ages and access to technology—all for free, reported Northumberland Public Library director Jane Blue.

To help their community members learn something new and find free things to do at their libraries, Chesapeake Public Library, Hampton Public Library, Newport News Public Library, Northumberland Public Library, Poquoson Public Library, Portsmouth Public Library, Suffolk Public Library and Virginia Beach Public Library have partnered to host a digital scavenger hunt during National Library Week, April 24-29.
