Lions Club supports RAL children’s art

Lancaster Lions Club past president Eileen Tullner recently presented Rappahannock Art League youth team leader Marilyn Sprouse a check for $300 for children’s art workshops at the RAL Art Center.

The first workshop sponsored by the Lions Club was held in August to create “light-up art,” reported Barry Beswick. Children created their own acrylic paintings on stretched canvas and then inserted miniature lights into the scenes to make a light-up painting.
