Local talent will perform at Campbell September 15

Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3712 Weems Road, Weems, will host an array of musicians at 3 p.m. September 15.

Music will range from classical to Christian, guitar to gospel to jazz. Skip Cousins will serve as emcee for “Live, Love & Share,” the third concert in a four-part series. A reception will follow, reported Jane Tims.

Guest artist Laurie Rowe of Irvington began her celebrated flute career 50 years ago, starting in high school and playing with the Columbia (S.C.) Youth Orchestra, said Tims. She studied flute performance at Newberry College and The University of South Carolina, and took master classes at Wildacres Flute Retreat in Little Switzerland, N.C.
