PITTSBURG, NH—Lois S. Deery, 90, of Fort Pierce, Fla., passed away at her daughter’s home on June 28, 2018.
She was born in Kilmarnock on September 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Roland C. and Emma Mae (Gould) Sampson.
Lois had been self-employed as a bookkeeper and shareholder of H&S Citrus, Inc. in Fort Pierce, Fla., prior to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her children, enjoyed flowers and gardening and loved her service dog, Alice Ann.
Members of her family include two daughters, Pamela B. Choquette and husband, Ray of Pittsburg, N.H., and Lois Dianne Austin of Pittsburg, NH; son, William L. Bailey Jr. and wife, Grace, of Fort Pierce, Fla; grandchildren, Eric L. Hunter, Alana Daniel and husband, Zach, and Joel Evans; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roland Sampson of Hollywood, Fla.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Kilmarnock Seventh Day Adventist Church, Kilmarnock. Memorial contributions may be made to Kilmarnock Seventh Day Adventist Church.
