Dan Hickey of Smith Point Marina, Reedville, recently announced the installation of a public electric vehicle (EV) charging station in the marina parking lot.
The station has standard NEMA 30 and 50 amp receptacles which will enable charging of any EV using the owner’s adapter, said Hickey. To keep expenses low, the station is manual and there will be a fee for each charging session.
