WHITE STONE—Morgan Marvin Oneal “Neal” Tiggle died Saturday, November 11, at his home in White Stone after a long recurring battle with cancer.
Neal was born on October 8, 1950, to the late Clarence Oneal and Hazel Elaine Tiggle. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1970. He later attended Prince George’s Community College. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Neal relocated to Baltimore, Md., where he worked at several jobs before his employment with the federal government in 1973. He served 32 years with the Department of Defense (DoD), receiving numerous awards and plaques before his early retirement in January 2006 which enabled him to become the primary caregiver of his mother. Although he held several positions with the DoD, he most enjoyed working in the Model Shop where he made miniature take apart replicas of embassies, ships, planes and other structures as needed.
Neal is survived by his son, Keefe; grandson, Keyon Amari; granddaughter, Kylie Grace; sisters, Betty of California, Shirley of West Virginia, Cora of Virginia and Maxine of Maryland.
A funeral was held Sunday, November 19, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
