HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office recently announced the establishment of a MeetUp Spot, a designated area in front of the sheriff’s office for buyers and sellers from online and mobile marketplaces to meet in person to complete their transactions.
“Our ability to partner with the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office allows us to bring a collective and focused effort and investment to the well-being of this community by improving the security of in-person transactions,” said Natalie Angelillo, vice president of community at OfferUp.
