The Northern Neck Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (NNMOAA) will hold its annual Memorial Day Commemoration on Monday, May 30, at Historic Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems.
The ceremony will begin with patriotic music at 11 a.m. and will continue with a formal observance at 11:30 a.m.
According to program coordinator retired U.S. Coast Guard Cdr. Greg Kirkbride, the keynote speaker will be Commissioner Daniel M. Gade who leads the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. The officer and enlisted honorees will be retired U.S. Army Col. William J. Wright and retired U.S. Coast Guard Yeoman First Class Stanley J. Becker.
