Memorial Day service will be held May 29 at Bethel UMC cemetery

The Bethel-Emmanuel Church United Methodist Men will conduct a Memorial Day Ceremony beginning at 9:30 a.m. May 29 in the Bethel Church Cemetery, 142 Old Bethel Road, Lively.

The speaker will be The Reverend John Seltzer who is in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. A wreath will be placed to commemorate deceased veterans of the U.S. armed forces, reported retired Capt. Robert V. Smart.

The ceremony will last about 40 minutes. In case of inclement….
