The Hope and Glory Inn’s Dog and Oyster Micro-Vineyard and Oyster Bar, 66 Tavern Road, Irvington, will reopen for the season Friday, April 4, marking the 15th year of pairing its Dog and Oyster wine with locally sourced oysters and beyond.
Wine and oysters have been paired for centuries. This vineyard’s local oyster and wine pairings can be described as a magical culinary confluence where two of life’s most sought-after delicacies on this earth and in the water are influenced by the same set of special characteristics that make them truly harmonious, said owner Dudley Patteson.
