This year marks the 55th year that churches in Lancaster County will join in an expression of church community during the Lenten season.
Each Wednesday, worshipers will gather at 12:05 p.m. for a 30-minute service followed by a light lunch, reported Lancaster County Ministerial Association (LCMA) secretary, the Rev. Judy Thomson.
The community Lenten services, organized by the LCMA, will be hosted this year by Kilmarnock United Methodist Church, 89 East Church Street, Kilmarnock. Services will begin February 26 and end April 8.
