BURGESS—Nancy L. Buchanan died July 23, 2019.
She is survived by her sons, Alan R. Buchanan and Kent S. Buchanan; grandchildren Jake, Cole, Ally, Jack, Virginia and Pierce; and sisters, Peggy Cunningham and Patricia Nielsen.
She is pre-deceased by her son, John W. Buchanan Jr.; husband, John W. Buchanan Sr.; and brother, Larry Connor.
Nancy was born April 1, 1944, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
For the bulk of her career she owned and operated Foreign Car Specialists of Sterling, with her husband. They moved to Burgess in 1999 upon the sale of their business.
She finished out her career at Rappahannock General Hospital in the billing department.
Per her request no services will be held. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity.
