NAPS to explain ‘Teaching With Small Boats’ at annual meeting

The Northumberland Association for Progressive Stewardship (NAPS) will showcase the “Teaching With Small Boats” program for students from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 21, in the pavilion at the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum, 504 Main Street, Reedville.

The presentation will be followed by an ice cream social and the annual meeting, reported Mike Ahart.

The “Teaching with Small Boats” program was held in June, hosted by Reedville Fishermen’s Museum (RFM), engaging students from Northumberland Middle School. The program introduced students to maritime concepts, boat-building techniques and nautical skills. Participants built and launched….
