New burgee with modern ties flies at Indian Creek Yacht Club


The bridge of the Indian Creek Yacht Club recently announced the release of a new burgee, effective with its annual business meeting October 24, 2023, and officially released on January 1 – just in time to start the new year off with a brand new and modern look.

The new design, created by members Alan Pitts, Lou Frank and Craig Kelly, presents Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club’s white heron on the red color of the old burgee in the shape of an arrowhead adjacent to the club’s signature color blue. The new design reflects elements of the yacht club’s past with the inclusion of the arrowhead, it’s present with the introduction of the heron which was recently adopted by Indian Creek as its primary symbol and the blue background representing a brilliant future for….
