The new poster has sepia photographs of 24 steamboats, in alphabetical order, that plied the bay during the Steamboat Era. Each vessel is labeled with dates of service.
The Steamboat Era Museum recently announced a new poster available exclusively at the eighth annual Holiday Marketplace.
Steamboats of the Chesapeake Bay, designed by Brecher Design Group, measures 24-inches by 36-inches and is a companion piece to the Cannery Labels of the Northern Neck poster, said executive director Steve Humphrey.
