Some 1,935 pounds of fish, including 40 cobia and three bluefish, were weighed in at the second NNK Saltwater Shootout fishing tournament on June 29.
Primarily a cobia-targeted tournament, anglers also were vying for a bluefish Calcutta.
The tournament proceeds help fund scholarships for graduating Northumberland High School seniors. The NNK Saltwater Shootout committee, formed in 2023, presented three scholarships to NHS graduates in 2024.
