The Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO) will perform William Grant Still’s Symphony No. 1 at the final performances of its 30th concert season on Friday, May 13, at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock; and Saturday, May 14, at the Northumberland High School Theater, 201 Academic Lane, Claraville.
The program will also feature Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.
Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $36 and may be purchased at www.northernneckorchestra.org or at the box office. Students are admitted free.
