The Northern Neck Hidden History Trail will hold two official launch ceremonies on March 9. Ceremonies will take place from 10 a.m.-noon at Historic Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, and from 3-5 p.m. at Stratford Hall, 483 Great House Road, Stratford.
“I am excited about the Northern Neck Hidden History Trail because we are sharing the hidden stories of our past through the vibrant perspectives of people of color to create a greater sense of place,” said co-founder and program director Alva Jackson. “When we illuminate our shared legacy, it becomes the foundation for a better community where we communicate, collaborate and participate to ignite brighter futures.”
The launch ceremonies will be a community celebration where visitors will get to see the official unveiling….
