The Northern Neck Orchestra will perform an outdoor spring concert showcasing the string section in works by Mozart, Mendelssohn and others at 1 and 3 p.m. June 5 at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock.
Tickets are $36 and may be purchased at the check-in desk or www.northernneckorchestra.org. Students are admitted free.
The concert, performed by an ensemble of 28, features composers from different eras and distinctive musical styles, said music director Michael Repper.
