The Northern Neck Orchestra will open its 2022-23 concert season with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Georges Bizet and Virginia composer Adolphus Hailstork on October 15 at the Lancaster Middle School Theater in Kilmarnock.
The program includes Hailstork’s moving Fanfare on Amazing Grace, Mozart’s delightful Horn Concerto No. 4, featuring soloist Emma Potter, and Bizet’s lively L’Arlesienne Suites Nos. 1 and 2.
A pre-concert talk hosted by music director Michael Repper will begin at 6:45 p.m., the concert will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $40. Season tickets for all three shows are $96. Tickets can be purchased at the door or www.northernneckorchestra.org. Students are admitted free.
