HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, March 23, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Derrick D. Cockrell of Heathsville pleaded guilty to felony manufacture of a controlled substance and was sentenced to five years with four years and nine months suspended, as well as indefinite supervision. Further disposition was scheduled for January 4, 2022. Two additional felony counts of manufacture of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of sale/distribution of marijuana were each nolle prossed.
Carl T. Rich of Heathsville pleaded guilty to felony possession of Schedule I/II substances. Rich was sentenced to 10 years with eight years suspended, and indefinite supervision. One felony count….
