HEATHSVILLE – The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, March 27, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Bennie T. Lee of Burgess pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor probation violation. Lee’s probation was revoked, and he was sentenced to 12 months with 12 months suspended on each count.
Robert H. Mahan Jr. of Burgess, charged with felony petit larceny, third-plus offense, was sentenced to five years with three years and 10 months suspended and to indefinite supervision, and was entered into a work release program.
In the case of James B. Burt of Heathsville, charged with felony probation violation, trial was set for May 4.
