HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened for term day Tuesday, July 26, with the Hon. Judge R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Carlos Parker of Heathsville, charged with possession of a weapon as a felon, a trial was set for August 23.
In the case of Dere’onta J. Redmond of Heathsville, charged with malicious shooting/throwing at an occupied building, two counts of shooting a firearm from a vehicle, two counts of use of a firearm while committing a felony, two counts of destruction of property, and two counts of malicious wounding, a trial was set for for August 2.
In the case of Jessica A. Thompson of Lottsburg, charged with four felony counts of child abuse/disregard for life, a trial was set for September 20.
