HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, April 25 for Term Day with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of David V. Christian of Heathsville, charged with assault on law enforcement, a trial was set for May 23.
In the case of Wesley R. Tinsley of Hampton, charged with construction fraud by advanced pay of over $1,000 and obtaining money by false pretenses of over $1,000, the case was continued to May 9.
In the case of Ernest J. Polk Jr. of Heathsville, charged with assault and battery of a family member, his third or more offense, a trial was set for May 23.
In the case of Daniel J. Banes of Richmond, charged with failure to appear on a felony offense as well as five misdemeanor charges of pretrial violations, arraignment was continued to July 25. Banes remains a fugitive.
In the case of Kiwana Y. Garcia of Heathsville, charged with failure to appear on a felony offense, arraignment was continued to July 25. Garcia remains a fugitive.
In the case of Robert C. Lawson of Callao, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, an arraignment was continued to July 25. Lawson remains a fugitive.
