HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, October 31, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Johnshonika J. Gregory of Heathsville was found guilty of not reporting an accident resulting in injury and was sentenced to 10 years with nine years and six months suspended. She faces one year of supervised probation and one year of license suspension. She additionally will have to pay $1,388.80 in costs. She also was found guilty of a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended/revoked license and was sentenced to 90 days with 90 days suspended. A further disposition will be heard November 14.
In the case of Richard J. Parker Jr. of Callao, charged with manufacturing/distributing Schedule I/II drugs, an arraignment was continued and a status hearing was set for December 5.
In the case of Ernest E. Adams of Reedville, charged with two counts of distribution/selling for profit Schedule I/II drugs, a trial was continued to December 5.
