Northumberland County Circuit Court Report

HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, March 12, with the Hon. Charles S. Sharp presiding.

In the case of Craig J. Bailey of Saluda, charged with three counts of probation violation on a felony offense, possession of Schedule I/II drugs, driving on a suspended/revoked license, and driving while intoxicated, sentencing was continued to May 28.

In the case of Eric C. Englander of Reedville, charges of possession of a weapon/ammo (not a gun) as a felon and possession of a gun as a nonviolent felon were noelle prosequi. Englander also pleaded nolo contendere to two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer. The charges resulted in a deferred disposition and a status hearing was set for March 11, 2025.

Ronald Oliver of White Stone pleaded guilty to distributing/selling for profit Schedule I/II substances. He was sentenced to five years with four years and four months suspended. He was placed on 10 years of probation. Two counts of manufacturing/distributing Schedule I/II substances were noelle prosequi.

In the case of Myshaun T. Porter of Burgess, charged with two counts of distributing/selling for profit Schedule I/II drugs, a status hearing was continued to April 23. Porter also faces two misdemeanor charges of pre-trial violations.
