HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, March 26, with the Hon. Joseph J. Ellis presiding.

In the case of Terry M. Gordon of Hampton, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was set for June 18.

Charles L. Elmore of Richmond was found guilty of manufacturing a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 10 years with seven years suspended. He faces $575 in costs and was placed on indefinite supervision. Additionally, two charges of failure to appear on a felony offense were concluded by noelle prosequi.

The case of Keandre T. Moye of Warsaw, charged with four counts of distributing/selling for profit a Schedule I/II drug, was continued to May 7.

Alfonso Ruiz-Monge of Heathsville pleaded guilty to possession of a gun as a nonviolent felon and was sentenced to five years with three years suspended. He also faces $2,260.80 in costs.
