HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, October 22, for Term Day with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.

In the case of James A. Brown IV of Champlain, charged with four counts of distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs for profit, a status hearing was carried over to January 28, 2025.

In the case of Kevin R. Cunningham of Callao, charged with two counts of probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was set for October 29.

In the case of Carlos A. Liverpool of Burgess, charged with four counts of probation violation on a felony offense and failure to appear on a felony offense, a status hearing was set for October 29.

In the case of Lionel L. Baker of Kilmarnock, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, Baker was not found and a capias was set for January 28, 2025. Baker remains a fugitive.

In the case of Daniel J. Banes of Richmond, charged with failure to appear on a felony offense, Banes was not found and a capias was set for January 28, 2025. Banes also is charged with five counts of pretrial violation on misdemeanor offenses. Banes remains a fugitive.
