HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, August 18, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Veronica L. Tityk of Fayetteville, N.C., charged with grand larceny of more than $1,000, not personal property, the case was continued to September 8.
In the case of Sheila P. Henderson of Burgess, charged with obtaining money totaling more than $1,000 under false pretenses, a trial was set for November 10.
Donte S. Sutton of Lancaster pleaded guilty to probation violation on a felony offense. He was sentenced to four years and five months with four years and two months suspended. He faces $213 in costs.
Perry S. Clayton of Reedville pleaded nolo contendere to assault on a law enforcement officer/department of corrections person and possession of a firearm at a school. A deferred disposition was scheduled for February 16, 2027.
