LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, August 21, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.

In the case of Dari’k J. Reed of Weems, charged with a felony for violating probation, a show cause hearing was continued by defense motion and a status hearing scheduled for October 2.

In the case of William M. Noel of Weems, charged with 10 felonies for violating probation, probation was revoked. He was sentenced to nine years and one day with eight years, nine months and one day suspended on the first charge, plus $1,010.68 in court costs and 12 months of probation to begin upon release. He received 10-year suspended sentences for the remaining nine charges.

In the case of Phillip W. T. Cundiff of White Stone, appealing a General District Court misdemeanor conviction for driving under a revoked or suspended license, a trial was continued by the Commonwealth’s attorney’s office to September 18.

In the case of Kelly J. Jaf-Wilson of Leesburg, appealing a General District Court misdemeanor conviction for shoplifting/altering merchandise, a trial was continued to September 11.
