HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened April 9, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Kimberly N. Morris of Reedville, charged with a felony of obtaining a drug by fraud, pled guilty to an amended charge of a misdemeanor of falsifying a patient’s record. She was sentenced to 12 months with 11 months suspended and a six-month license suspension.
Duane M. Peel of Callao, charged with a felony of sale as accommodation, pled no contest and the case was set for review April 23, 2019.
Richard E. Sandy of Reedville, charged with two felonies of possession of a controlled substance, pled no contest in one charge and the case was continued to April 23, 2019, and the other charge was not prosecuted at the time of trial.
The case of Ursula N. Scott of Tappahannock, charged with two felonies of manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued to June 19.
