HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened April 24 for term day, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Trials
The case of Keywon M. Gaskins of Heathsville, charged with two felonies of a probation violation, was continued to June 26.
The case of Crystal D. King, charged with felony manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued to July 24.
Ernest J. Polk of Heathsville, charged with four misdemeanors of two probation violations and two community based probation violations, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 12 months with 12 months suspended and two months with one month suspended on the probation violation charges. The community based charges were dismissed.
Donald L. Scruggs of Reedville, charged with felony selling or distributing marijuana and one misdemeanor of possessing marijuana, pled guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor sale as accommodation and was sentenced to 12 months with 12 months suspended…
