HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened January 7 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

Eva L. Davila Paz of Colonial Beach, charged with one felony for possession of a controlled substance, entered a plea of nolo contendere. Her disposition was scheduled for January 28.

The case of Brian K. Painter of Weems, charged with two felonies including one count for possession of a controlled substance and one count for violating his probation, was continued to January 28.

Everette R. Hanson of Heathsville, charged with one felony for bestiality, entered a plea of nolo contendere. His disposition was continued to January 12.

The trial of William O. Jones of Lancaster, charged with one felony for violating his probation, was continued to January 28.

The trial of Olivia R. Yarborough of Burgess, charged with three felonies for manufacturing controlled substances, was continued to April 28.
