LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, January 10 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Curtis A. Henderson of Mollusk, charged with a misdemeanor for non-compliance with the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program, a trial was set for February 28.
Gregory McEachern II of Lancaster, charged with three felonies for violating probation on felony offenses, was found in violation and a review was set for April 3.
Christopher J. Baublitz of Lancaster, charged with a misdemeanor for violating a protective order, pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay court costs of $469.
In the trial of Gary R. Rich of Weems, charged with a felony for violating a protective order for the third time in 20 years, the charge was nolle prossed.
Jerrick D. Saunders of Lancaster, charged with one felony for violating probation on a felony offense and one misdemeanor for violating probation on a misdemeanor offense, was found in violation and a review was set for April 3.
Steve D.L. Waller Jr. of Kilmarnock, charged with one felony for selling/distributing cocaine, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years, all but seven months were suspended. Waller also was ordered to pay restitution of $100.
Bryan L. Pratz Jr. of Lancaster, charged with nighttime burglary to commit a felony, was found not guilty by reason of insanity and a status review was set for March 13.
