HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened January 14 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
The trial of Charles E. Johnson of Elliot City, Md., charged with a felony for violating his probation on a felony offense, was set to begin March 3.
Joshua J. Burchett of Reedville pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to serve six months in jail by the court.
A review of the case of Benjamin L. Wyatt of White Stone, charged with two felony counts for possession of Schedule I or II drugs and three misdemeanors including one count for driving while intoxicated, one count for possession of drug paraphernalia and one count revoking his pretrial release, was continued to February 11.
